Nooristan Foundation’s 25 Year Anniversary event in Southern California honored its founder Dr. Nadir Atash whose vision to help bring education and development to Afghanistan began in the late 1990’s. Board member Mariam Atash hosted the program and special presenter Mary Apick (award-winning actress) presented a lifetime achievement award to Dr. Atash. Special musical performers included Farhad Ghafoor, Sina Bayat, Elias Ghafoor, Ghafoor Popal and Aaron Copenhaugen.
