Here’s an update on the book I’ve been working on for some of you who have asked: I’m making slow and steady progress given all else I have going on day to day. I’m still in the research phase (both Afghanistan and Islamic World as I’m working on both topics in parallel). I’ve also begun to make concept sketches as I learn and practice gauche painting (I’ve also started learning procreate as I am dabbling with idea of making the illustrations digital). This project could me years in the making, but I want it to be done right, compelling and visually pleasure.
